Honored by architecture experts as “plant steel”, bamboo materials, with light weight and excellent physical performance, is a perfect building structure materials( the ratio of bending strength& weight of the bamboo is 5.47 times bigger than steel). the ratio of bending strength & weight is with another name of specific tenacity. excellent structure materials should have higher specific tenacity so that it could stand bigger strength even though the contact surface is small and they could decrease the weight of the whole building.The higher the specific tenacity is, the lighter the required material is.
